My name is Chris Healy and I'd like to thank you for checking out my site.  I've been offering hot air balloon rides since 1986.  I figured out early on that balloons are great for getting from... but not so good for getting to.  So, if I wanted to go anywhere, I'd need and airplane!  In 1996 I earned my fixed wing, or airplane, license.  Every year we make the trip to Florida to visit the Grandparents.  They live on a Florida Airport Community.  It's so cool to land and taxi right up to the house!  I've flown most of the Northeast and I hold commercial and instrument ratings.

When it came time to buy an airplane, I knew I wanted something comfortable.  The Cessna 182 Skylane is one of the most popular airplanes around.  It comfortably holds four people and plenty of baggage.  The high wing design makes getting in and out a breeze.  Leather seats and noise reducing headsets add to passenger comfort.  The 230 horsepower engine pulls the airplane along at speeds up to 160 miles hour but we can slow it down for sightseeing.

Our flying area is absolutely beautiful.  The Shawangunk Ridge rises majestically to the north and the mighty Hudson River winds down the valley to the east.  High Point, NJ is marked with a monument to the west and the Palisades Mountains are to our south.  Orange County still has plenty of agricultural and horse farms in the area too.
